Elite X2 1012
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I tried to disable Remote Management Options in my Elite X2 G2 by disabling Active Management (AMT) box. Uppon reboot, a lot of sensors get disabled with it for some reason: Hall sensors, Gyro-Accelerometer sensors (All the sensors under Intel Sensor Hub) and ambiant light sensor too.

Why would they get disabled when AMT get disabled?
They are two different entities, one is for remote management, the other is tablet sensors, why is one affecting the other?

This issue is is present on 1.18 bios version (latest) and I guess even on 1.06 (or 1.16, it was the original firmware shipped with my device).

I would like an HP Engineer (that's knows why this happens) to clarify this issue, and if possible a later fix on the firmware.

Thank you.

I am having the same isue with the latest n85 bios for this computer. It's a mess that when you dissable AMT you lose all sensors in this computer. No sense..
