Hello! In our company, we have ~ 300 elitepad 900 tablets. And very often we encounter the problem Product Information not valid. Using the Bios Configuration Utility on some devices, the problem is solved. But for most, it appears again. Is there any universal solution to this problem without replacing the motherboard?

 

:LightBulb:An important regularity of this problem is that the tablet is turned on only with the screen cover removed. When you install it in place and turn off the tablet with a probability of 50%, it will not turn on.:LightBulb:

 

How we solve the problem using the Bios Configuration Utility:

In CMD

1. cd C: / Program Files / Hewlett-Packard / BIOS Configuration Utility

2. BiosConfigUtility.exe / get: "config"

3. Open "config" with notepad and write the missing lines.

4. BiosConfigUtility.exe /set:"config.txt "

5. Reboot tablet.
