Hi @Dp66ny,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To perform a factory reset on an HP tablet without knowing the admin password, you can use the tablet's hardware keys. Here are the general steps you can follow:y

Turn off the Tablet: Ensure the tablet is completely powered off.

Enter Recovery Mode:

  • Press and hold the Volume Up button.
  • While holding the Volume Up button, press and hold the Power button.
  • Release both buttons when you see the HP logo.

Navigate the Recovery Menu:

  • Use the Volume buttons to navigate through the options.
  • Select "Wipe data/factory reset" by pressing the Power button.

Confirm the Reset:

  • Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to confirm.

Reboot the Tablet:

  • After the reset is complete, select "Reboot system now" using the Power button.

The tablet will restart and the factory reset process will be completed. This will erase all data on the tablet and return it to its original factory settings.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
