I can't be sure that byrdley20 is getting this for the same reason, but the only time I see events added from the Pre show up as invites is if they are changes made to a calendar that the main google calendar has access to. I didn't understand that this is what was happening at first, because I added both calendars separately to the Pre and my assumption was that if I changed CalendarB, it would do so through that account and not through the subscription to CalendarB that CalendarA has. I was also having trouble with events on CalendarB added through the google website showing up as uneditable on the Pre even though they should have been editable according to the set permissions, no matter which account was trying to make the changes. (I hope all that makes sense!)
I now just have one calendar which has full-permission subscriptions to my other calendars, and just that one is set to sync with my phone. I am able to edit and add events to any of the subscribed calendars. I do still get the question mark in google but it makes sense, just a little annoying.

I noticed the same thing, but have figured it out.
The main calendar you have set up for your gmail shouldn't have the invitation problem at all, but sub-calendars will have the problem until you make a change on the google calendars site.
>Go to "Settings" for the calendars.
>You will have to make the change by clicking on each sub-calendar.
>For each sub-calendar you have, select "Automatically add all invitations to this calendar.", under Auto-accept invitations.
>Make sure to click "Save".
I have tried testing it and it seems the "?" as for answering an invitation on the google calendar no longer appears.
Hope it helps!

I actually already tried changing my settings in Google Calendar. Automatically Add Invitations to my Calendar is already set to Yes, but I still get the issue. The event I am modifying is on my main google calendar. I do have sub calendars, but I'm not touching those events. On my Pre, I have 2 calendar accounts. 1 is the Palm Profile, which doesn't have any events on it and the other is my Google Calendar. When I modify or add an event to the main calendar, after it syncs to Google, it places a question mark (?) next to the event. I have to click the question mark and accept the invitation for it to go away.
Any other suggestions?

My swing at a guess is that this shows up for shared calendar events that OTHERS you've given access to add them.
You can (according to what I read in settings) turn this off by setting "Do not show invitations" for that calendar (the person that "owns" the calendar in this case).
