Product: Hp10bii+ financial calculator

My hp 10bii+ financial calculator shows a clear all message whenever i compute the effective interest rate and only when i compute the effective interest rate. All other elements i get the answer, i have tried resetting it and removing the batteries but nothing seems to be working please help me
