Thank you, but it still needs to be clarified.

Can main batteries be inside the 50g while external charger is connected, or not ?

If so, can the batteries be regular alkaline ones? (it would mean that no charging would be possible)

Hi!, andy11:

 

You must use battery charge without batteries, for check if run your HP50G. If with battery charger run OK, then check battery terminal's and clean with pharmaceutical alcohol and cotton and disconnect battery charger and put alcaline batteries.

 

Best if use rechargable batteries of 1.2 VDC and not < to 900mA.
