Hi
I recently tried to do a factory reset on my HP 8 G2.
It seems to have got stuck on the erasing screen.
I have tried to get into the bootloader as directed in other posts on this forum but it doesn't want to play ball and goes back to the erasing screen.
Further more when I try to charge it with the power off the battery symbol will come up showing totally empty and the the screen will go blank although it seems to be lit from behind.
Any help would be appreciated.

Going through your post, I see that you are having issues with your HP 8 tablet. I would suggest you backup your data and perform a factory reset on your tablet.
Go to http://hp.care/2noy21x and follow the steps under “Resetting when the tablet does not start”.
