I'm now using my X3 for 2 months with silicon case and totally no problems.

Phone is up to date.

OS: 10.0.15063.450

Bootloader: 520291

Silicon case with flip cover? Bug is caused by flip cover and/or software which 'feels' cover's state due to magnets inside. Totally buggy though, especially sad that expensive leather cover was a total waste of money

Try flip cover + fingerprint reader + iris scanner + latest fast ring build 10.0.15245 - this combination has fixed the problem on my device, but without iris scanner it comes back!

Thanks! WIll try this out. Not sure what is 'fast ring build' and how to get it installed. I've got 10.0.15063.540 and system says that phone is up to date...

I meant the OS build that you get when you enroll to the "fast ring/level" at the Windows insider program.

Thanks! Will look into that...

Ignore my post, issue returned after 7 days and using screen cast. Only a reboot helped ( screen was black, but fully functional to turn off the phone).
