Hi, I found the microSD slot on my Elite x2 1012 g1, and opened it, but can't figure out how to put my microsd card into there... I feel stupid, but it just doesn't seem to fit. Can someone illustrate the procedure? Thanks.

Go to page 36 of this manual for details on the SD card slot.
Here is an advisory (Thanks Wyrenut) that gives some more input on this also.
Advisory: HP Elite x2 1012 G1 - SD Card Slot Damaged By Inserting The SD Card Tray Upside Down
Hope it helps.

Hi, thanks for the answer... I did managed to open the door using a paper clip. My problem is at step 3 of manual's page 36... when I put the microSD card on the tray, it's rather loose, so I was unable to slide the tray+card back into the slot. Is it supposed to be loose like that? or is the micro card supposed to fit tightly on the tray?
Thanks!

Ya, that has been an issue complained about already, also.
My Spectre X2 has an outline for the Micro SD card to fit into that tray. But I have to hold it just so, to get it into the slot all the way.
That is definitely a design flaw in my opinion.
