Hi!
I purchased an Elite x3 for Verizon. Everything seems to work ok, but all the documention I've seen says this phone has dual SIMs. It includes the combo sim tray so two SIMs can be installed, however the 2nd sim doesn't show up in the phone. On my Lumia 950XL, there are ALWAYS 2 SIM icons at the top of the screen, regardless if a 2nd SIM is installed or not. The HP Elite x3 on the other hand, looks like it's a single sim phone.
I took the phone back to the Microsoft store where I purchased it and they opened a brand new Elite x3 for Verizon. It also did not show any options for SIM 2 and did not work when I installed 2 SIMs.
When I use the diagnotics tools in HP Device Hub, there's a small lock icon next to Dialer 2. The description of Dialer 2 is "This test verifies the dialer function of the second SIM".
Is there a way to enable SIM 2? Everything seems like it's there, just disabled.
Thank you!
Gary
