Hello!
I recently purchased and set up a HP ENVY x360- specifically for art. I also bought a corresponding Bamboo Ink , optimized for my computer. After I had set everything up, I downloaded an art program called Paint Tool Sai and began to use my pen in my art program. But, as I was using it, when I did a stroke part of the segment was straight; so it wasn't working correctly. The pressure sensitivity seems to be off as well- instead of some brushes being transparent they were not see through. Is there an issue with my art program, or with my computer, and how do I fix it?

Hi! @operosus, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you have issues using stylus accurately on your laptop.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
Did you get the HP active pen along with the tablet?
Please provide the product number of your laptop to assist you better.
As you mentioned you have issues using stylus accurately on your laptop.
I have checked the specifications of your laptop. And according to the specifications, the active stylus is not supported on your laptop.
So you can use only passive stylus on your laptop. This decreases the accuracy when you use it on your laptop.
An active stylus (also known as a digital stylus) uses a digitizer built into the screen to allow communication between the touch screen and the pen. An active stylus might support many or all of the functions supported by a mouse, such as right-click, hover, and more. Many active stylus models can block stray marks from your hand resting on the screen or the sweep of your palm while writing so that the screen only registers marks made by the pen.
A passive stylus (also known as a capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen. Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touchscreen device.
