HP Orbit seems to have disappeared from the Apple app store. Is there a replacement? If not, how do I transfer files from my iphone & tablet to my laptop easily?

Yes, HP Orbit has been superseded by HP QuickDrop.

 

You can get the QuickDrop app from the Microsoft Store for your PC, and here is the Apple app store link for iPhone.
