My laptop won’t turn on and the charging light won’t come on when I plug it in.
I’ve already tried different outlets and holding down the power button for extended periods of time. I don’t see how to remove the battery without using a screwdriver, which is currently unavailable. I suspect the update has something to do with this.
I would like an answer ASAP since a lot of my work is saved on here.

Welcome to HP support community.
Check with an alternate power adapter or another wall outlet.
Battery is non-removable on all x360 models
If another wall outlet or adapter doesn't work or charge the device, this could be a hardware issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
