It seems to me that something's wrong with my unit. I've been using it for a couple of days, perharps for a total of 2 hours combined, or more. I haven't seen the battery go below 100% EVER. This is very strange.
The calculator arrived on thursday (3 days ago). The battery was absolutely flat. The calculator wouldn't even turn on. I plugged it in at uni, (where I picked up the shipment) for about 15 minutes to test it, in case I had to return it. Then I turned it off and only then I unplugged it. Then I got home and left it charging overnight. Ever since then, the battery level indicator has only shown 100%, full charge, even after hours of use. You would expect to see it drop at least to 99%, but that hasn't happened.
The model number of this unit is NW280AA#ABA. It came with very very old firmware, 2013 stuff which leads me to believe I have a unit which has been sitting on a shelve for quite some time. I don't know if that has to do with it. Since then, I updated the firmware. I am running 2014 12 3 (6975) right now. Hardware revision A. Serial no. is 4CY413****.

Here is a link to a battery perentage graph based on pressing a key once per minute at lowest brightness.
If you are interested, there's also a video of how this data was collected.

Thanks to everyone for the fast replies! I have a better understanding of this now. I would have expected to see 4 battery bars instead of a percentage, if there were only 5 battery levels but it's okay. Thanks to all of you
