Product: HP Slate 8 Pro Tablet
Operating System: Android 4.4 KitKat
I have Slate Pro 8 tablet on KitKat.
Tablet was freezing on startup screen, even after left alone for over 2 hours.
Because it was essentially inoperable, I attempted a factory reset/recovery as per:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Slate-8-Tablet/5447834/model/6608623/document/c04289054/
Once I got to step 6 (select "Recovery Kernel"), the dead Android robot appeared with "No Command".
Pressing [Power]+[Volume Up] had no effect
After a couple minutes, an apparently normal startup begins .... but it stalls as usual.
Any & all help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Scotch
