HP Smart App - Language modification

HP Smart App
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have installed the Smart App however the language of the App in my desktop machines for some reason is in Spanish.

 

I have checked my regional settings for...

- My PC's

- My Microsoft Account (all profiles)

- My HP account (connected & HPID)

 

The App on my iOS devices works in english correctly.

 

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the Software with the same issues it defaults to Spanish everytime.

Welcome to HP Forums,

Let's get straight to it, shall we..

 

I've found just the steps to get this sorted for you,

Let's start with:

 

1 Uninstalling the HP Smart APP

2 Go to your windows language settings and remove Spanish and probably any other non English language too.

3 You now have English as the only language on your computer.

4 Re install HP Smart from the App store and try it

5 It should now be in English

6 Go back to languages and get back your German or whatever else.

7 HP Smart should still be in English.

Here’s the thing, Spanish has never been installed on the PC in question, the only language installed is English (UK), which is correct. There are no other user accounts on the PC either.

I appreciate your help however it is something I have already tried.

It looks like you were interacting with @Riddle_Decipher, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out, 

I'm the Barachiel & I'm at your service.

 

I would request you to follow the same steps and send a screenshot to us, while you select the language during the installation of HP smart app, which would help us in further investigation.
