HP TouchPad Wireless Keyboard
iOS

Dear community,

I'm so frustrated that I cannot make my keyboard (see link/img below) work properly with my iPad... I have a veteran - iPad 1 (iOS 5.1.1) and my TouchPad wireless keyboard connected without any problems with it. The problems come when I try to type some text anywhere possible (Notes/Word-like programe/browser) - whenever I hit a symbol/back key ONCE, it goes on and on, as if I'm still pressing the key.. When I'm not fast enough with the typing, it types something like "Hellooo thissss issss aa testttttttt...." or when I hit the back key, everything I write, will be deleted, symbol by symbol, not only the last one. This all stops whenever I press the key in the most upper left corner - the one which looks like a comment bubble with something in it. But it's impossible to type this way - type a symbol, then strike the "comment bubble"-key, then another symbol, then the bubble key again... What should I do? I can only say that I successfully connected my keyboard with my lenovo Windows 7 laptop and there are no such problems...

Thanks in advance,

Ives

@Ives_I

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

I understand your HP TouchPad Wireless Keyboard presses key endless on iPad, although, your alternate keyboard works fine,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

What is the product number of your product? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? Have you attempted a system restore?

Did you connect the alternate keyboard via wireless as the HP keyboard or was that via Bluetooth?

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned on this link: Click here

Please reply with the details for further assistance.

Eager to help!

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accepted Solution.
