HP Z5000 Bluetooth Mouse
Android 6 Marshmallow

Hello,

I bought the HP Z5000 Bluetooth Mouse to use it with my Samsung Tab S 10.5 tablet that runs on Android 6.0.1.

The tablet finds and pairs with the mouse without any problems, and it shows as connected.

In the input settings I even see the option to control mouse speed.

But the problem is: I do not see any cursor nor mouse pointer on the screen. Also scrolling or clicking does not have any effect.

I tried the mouse on a Samsung S7 phone (android 8.0.0) via Bluetooth and it worked perfectly. Also on a laptop it worked fine. But not on the tablet for which I bought it.

I spend hours googling the problem but did not find a solution. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Smartyx.
