HP df1010v1 Digital Picture Frame

I have an HP df1010v1 Digital Picture Frame and in the menu there is a button for "System Upgrade".  I'm trying to find out if there is/was an upgrade file that can be loaded.  When I select the button, it says to insert an SD card with the system data (or something like that).  I have searched the Customer Support site and was able to download the "Getting Started", "Users Guide", etc. manuals.  But I see no Software to upgrade.  The documentation says it can be connected to a Windows PC, so I thought I would start here.  OH and I googled it too and can't find any upgrade file there either.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

@v015eyjd You are right, there's no update/upgrade as such available on my records as well, that said, do you have any errors while using the frame, is there a way to ignore that message? or disable the update options?
Could you share an image of the message so I know exactly what it is that needs to be done, to resolve this issue?

I don't have any errors, but I find the process to do pretty much anything extremely difficult.  It took me a while how to figure out how to get a slideshow going and how to set a schedule when using a USB thumb drive.  I notice there is info in the User's Guide about how to attach to a Windows PC and set up anything.  You can transfer files back and forth, but you can't set the schedule, set the time, etc. via the PC.  I was hoping there was a System Upgrade and maybe a Windows program that would allow you to do that kind of thing from the PC instead of those insane buttons at the top.  It's extremely tedious and difficult to remember what to do.  I also assume that if we lose power, there is no battery inside that remembers everything.  So it's going to all have to be done again.  *Groan*

The frame is my girlfriends and she's been wanting to use it for a while, but the power supply got misplaced/lost.  I ordered a new one from Amazon and now it powers on and functions.  She's going to have to get her pics on a thumbdrive and unfortunately, I'm going to have to get it to work using those stupid buttons.

@v015eyjd You could get the lost/misplaced power supply from HP and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
