Just bought a HP convertible laptop (15-aq118ca) from BestBuy to replace my HP 2-in-1. Needed to take a photo of something and then couldn't figure out how. Is this a front-facing only camera/webcam? If so, how does HP think it can replace a tablet?
Anyone else out there know how this works? If it really cannot take back pictures (only front-facing pictures - selfie/webcam), I'll definitely be returning it.

Hi @user_of_hp,
Thanks for reaching out. A Good day to you. 🙂 I understand that you require information regarding the webcam on the computer. You require it to take pictures from the back also. I’ll be glad to assist you with this.
Splendid description of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. 🙂 We greatly value your business with HP. I also take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.
The product specifications on the computer are very clear: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05346021 It is a front facing camera only. It will not be possible to take pictures from the back.
If you plan to buy a tablet or computer, I would request you to check the product specifications of the unit before buying it to ensure that it matches your requirements.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂 Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you. 🙂
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
