HP Recommended
Product: HP iPAQ 214

Good afternoon, folk.

After the Warranty had expired on my HP  iPAQ 214 Enterprise Handheld. the charging port broke.

 

I took it to a local computer repair shop in central Scotland where I stay but after a number of weeks he told me he couldn't get the solder to hold and returned the PDA to me , minus the port.

 

Can anyone recommend someone who could have a look to see what parts were needed,  order them in and  then do the  necessary? i have checked online and the businesses I contacted have told me parts might be a problem as they only hold a very limited stock and do not order in parts!

 

I would prefer  a recommendation for someone in the UK but would be prepared to send the PDA abroad if necessary.

 

Hopefully there's someone out there who can either have a look or recommend someone.
