Example: HP stream model 14

I am setting up my disabled brothers new laptop, the HP Stream model 14 cb116ds. The Netflix app is already installed and it won’t launch, it is telling me there was a problem communicating with netflix, code is T1-H1-W80072F8A.

Thank you.

@a_ponce77,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to launch the Netflix app and getting an error.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you uninstall the Netflix app from the computer and then install it from the Microsoft store and check whether the issue is resolved.

Alternatively, you can try updating the Netflix app to resolve the issue.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Select Store from the Start screen or the Taskbar.
  2. Select the User Icon next to the search box.
  3. Select Downloads or Updates.
  4. Select Check for Updates.
  5. Select the down arrow on the right to download the Netflix update.
  6. The Netflix app will now be downloaded and updated.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

P.S: Welcome to the HP Support Community 😊
