Hi there this computer has been donated to us at a local charity shop and donor assured us it had been reset to factory settings but home screen password protected? Usually there is a switch user option but can’t see one here? Thks

@Lomara The answer to that question entirely depends on which version of Windows you've got installed on the device? that said, if it's windows 10, here's what you need to do:

 

Select the Start  button on the taskbar. Then, on the left side of the Start menu, select the account name icon (or picture) > Switch user > a different user.

Hi There, apologies for late reply. This didn't work as am unable to access even the task bar? The keyboard doesn't appear to be connected and cannot see how to access with the touchscreen. I can access an onscreen keyboard if there is a function i can select to help maybe?

@Lomara Please try with an alternate keyboard and if that doesn't work either, check with the on-screen keyboard, 
Also, tell me why you wish to switch accounts? is it because the keyboard isn't working in this account? please elaborate!
