I use an external dvd player connected via usb. Every time I put in a dvd, a bell rings and a little dialogue box pops up sayong "select what to do with enhanced dvds", and a list of 4 options pops up. I have to retell the computer EVERY TIME what I want it to do, so what is the point of this feature? How do I set it to automatically open the dvd with VLC media player (which is what I select every time)? And I already searched every branch option available in "Autoplay" settings, there's nothing there to solve the issue.

@Eventhorizonaj Here's all you need to know:

Open Control Panel > AutoPlay.

(Here you will be able to configure your Auto-play settings for each media).

Select VLC or the player of your choice under the defaults and click on Save.

P.S: Welcome to HP Forums! 😉
