All of a sudden my hp calculator won't add. Normally I'll press f CLX. Xy and it will clear. I've tried using - and off on. No luck, I've tried the penny in the battery no luck. I've tried a new battery. No luck. Next I'll take my battery out for 24 hours but then if it doesn't work I don't know what to do. Help! Mary B

Do you have the HP-12c (gold bezel) or HP-12c Platinum (silver bezel)?

Hi,

 

If you have the HP-12C platinum, it has both Algebraic and RPN entry mode.

 

You may have been using it in the Algebraic mode and it is now in RPN mode or vice versa.
