It's sadly quite common for them to 'just not come on'. When it's on the dock is the light orange or white? If it's orange then it doesn't have a full charge and if it's been docked for awhile but stays orange then the first thing I'd look at is the charging port on the tablet. The circuitry is surprisingly easy to break. If it's white then you at least know that the battery is getting power (should be getting power).
From there I'd pop it open and unplug the battery from the MB. Give it a few mins then plug it back in and try to power it on. If that doesn't do it then you're probably looking at it being the MB which sucks.
