Hello. I am considering to buy a new HP calculator do replace my old HP48G.
1) I believe the contrast in the labels is poor. Orange/light blue with gray has too low contrast. Of course a firmware update cannot solve this... Someone can provide some comments on this, I do not have a very good light all the time I use this machine, and would like to know if this is a problem to someone else (maybe this is a problem with ME?) rs.
2) I found some people complaining the RPN have changed, statements the RPN is not so good as in previous models. I am a fan of RPN mode and use it a lot, so if RPN is not working very well this is a major issue to me. I had a little time with the calculator, so I could not check it extensively. Can someone please comment this complain? What have changed with RPN? I expect the same behavior just with some new features or updates...
Thanks for your comments!

Hi!, @celsocos:
Welcome, to Forum !.
The HP PRIME GRAPHING CALCULATOR is a jewel of 5th.Generation and is designed, in a language similar to Pascal, but perfectly combines with Algebraic, Text and some operations, which are done with RPN. Of course, it is not the same, as its predecessors. If you are accustomed to the RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) or RPL (Reverse Polish Lisp), you should migrate to the HP50G. Of course having all of them, since the HP67, this is my modest opinion.
Have a nice day !.

Hello,
As regards the key constrast, recent units of the HP Prime use a different blue for the keys (see http://holyjoe.net/Prime/BothPrimes_small.jpg), and the key printing process as been slightly changed. All-in-all the new scheme is much more readable.
As regards RPN:
- The HP Prime is NOT, right now, a RPN calculator (future firmware updates could change that);
- Although I am a long-time RPN/RPL user, I find the TextBook mode just fine, particularly in the CAS.
Compared to the HP 50g, which I have been using for years, I find the HP Prime much easier to use (except maybe if you have to crunch a lot of numbers).
Best regards,
