HP prime

I have had an HP Prime graphing calculator for about two years which just recently has gotten locked up permanantly. I was trying to graph the derivitive of an equation, so I entered 'Slope(5x-1)'. I hit Plot, and my calculator crashed. It tried to restart, showed the HP logo and the standard startup screen with x squared plus y squared equals 1 in big letters, showed the grid of the graph for maybe a tenth of a second, and crashed again. It's been in an endless process of trying to restart and crashing ever since. I tried pushing the restart pin on the back of the calculator, letting the battery die and then plugging it in, and removing the battery and plugging it in then, but none of that worked. I'm at a loss of what to do, and was hoping someone might have an idea of how to fix this.

Thanks!

Okay, I tried holding F, C, and O while it restarted, and I managed to get to the menu options. I factory reset my calculator, and everything works superbly, exept for one thing. For some reason, the contrast of the screen is acting up so that the display is all faded out and too bright. I tried adjusting the brightness by holding the On button and pushing + or -, but that only effected the brightness and left the display still faded. Is there anything to fix this?

Thanks for all the help!

I tried that but it only made the screen brighter, and left everything still faded out.

I tried that and it still didn't work. I'm still seeing a faded-out screen. When I did the test for the screen colors, they showed up in perfect color though.
