Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to assist.

I understand that you would like to know if the HP 10 G2 supports OTG function.

Yes, this tablet should support the OTG function.

Hope this answers your question. Keep me posted for any further queries. Cheers!

Mkazi thanx for your redponse but how do I confirm w/o doing damage to tablet or other device? When I called hp one rep says it does support it another rep says it doesnt. The only micro usb port is for power, I would have to use that port? Also do you know wat size memory card would be accepted? I thought it ssid 32 somewhere in beginning but both reps said 128, dont want to waste money on something that wont work

You're welcome.

Connecting an OTG cable does not damage the tablet usually. Because it connector is standard across multiple devices.

Secondly, if you have the HP 10 G2 2301 Tablet then it should support 1 MicroSD (support up to 64GB): Source: Product specifications.

If it is another model tablet then please let me know the exact model no. and I will verify how much memory card it can support.

Cheers! 🙂
