What do I need to do to use a wireless mouse with my laptop.  A wired mouse works just fine.  I added a dongle, Edimax N150 wifi/bluetooth 4.0 USB adaptor.  This is recognized by the device manager under the bluetooth caption.  Under the mouse caption "HIP" mouse and touchscreen are listed (2 things).

The wireless mouse that came with my new Dell all in one (came with wireless mouse and keyboard) does not work.  Of course that could be a wrong choice for some technical reason.

I suspect there is simple fix if I only knew what it was.

Hi @Larrym739,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the Bluetooth mouse is not working on your computer.

I’d love to help!

I would like to know the mouse brand so that I can assist you better.

Meanwhile, follow the steps in the below article to connect the mouse.

NOTE: Above article is for an HP wireless mouse, however, the steps the same for all the wireless mouse.

Let me know how it goes and you have a good day ahead.

Thank you for that reply.  The information was helpful but the problem was identified by the tech support at my computer store.  The mouse I was trying to use was not compatible.  I purchased a Logitech bluetooth mouse, and after learning how to install new hardware in windows 10, it is now working fine.
