Hi,

I've just bought a new HP Envy 17 and love it! My only concern regards the sound. Until now I have always had Acer computers, and these employ Realtek Audio Manager to control speakers, microphone and sound effects. Since I am used to Realtek Audio Manager, I would like to install it on my Envy laptop. I tried doing this yesterday, but Realtek does not appear in the control panel, nor is there any indication of it being on my PC other than Realtek (R) Audio being listed in Device Manager under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

Does anyone have any experience with Realtek Audio Manager on an HP computer? I find that volume levels on the preinstalled sound system are quite low.

Florio
