Is it okay to use a SanDisk 64GB Class 4 SDXC Flash Memory Card for storage of Photoshop layered art?

Looks like no one has responded to you yet, so if you still are needing an answer about your SD card, Yes its OK to store PSD files from Photoshop on it.

SD cards are just another form of flash memory and have a read/write speed rating, like all other forms of storage.

Data is still data and will store just fine, no matter if its a class 4, class 10 SD card, USB pen drive or SSD drive.

Oh, I see what happened.  No worries.

I will add though, that even though SD cards will hold whatever data, they can fail just like any other drive too.

So dont rely on just one drive to hold your files. Make a duplicate copy of everything to something like a 1-TB external HDD. HDD's are still the cheapest per-gig storage medium.

IF you lose SD card and dont have it backed up, its gone forever.

I learned that the hard way when I was in the biz many years ago.
