HP 10 2101 tablet
Microsoft Windows XP

I have an HP10 2101  touch screen tablet with Android and had been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for over a year. Recently started getting a repeated error message of "unfortunately bluetooth share has stopped". Without a keyboard I haven't been able to restart in safe mode by pressing keys like esc or f keys before I have to enter my pass code.

Please help!

Hi @LindaLou333,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand you are getting an error message while connecting bluetooth device to your HP Tablet. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the tablet:

A hard reboot can resolve many startup issues. Press and hold the power button for more than eight seconds. After the tablet fully shuts down, wait a few seconds, and then press the power button to turn on the tablet.

If the tablet does not start, continue with the next step.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to disable and enable bluetooth on your tablet and then try to pair the device and check if that helps. For more assistance, please go through the User guide of your HP tablet - Click here

If this does not help. I would suggest the next step would be to perform a factory reset on the tablet, please go through this link - HP Tablets - Performing a Factory Reset on Your Tablet (Android KitKat, Jelly Bean)

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Let me know if those steps worked for you.

If they did, that’s awesome!

Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!

Good Luck.
