Hello, when I restart my laptop, it restarts normally at first but then I get a bluescreen that has an error code of “WDF_Violation”. I have no idea why it does this, it seems that it doesn’t affect my laptop any but it would be less of a hassle if it wasn’t there. Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting bluescreen error with WDF violation error.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
The WDF_VIOLATION is usually caused by certain drivers, display or video drivers in most cases. Therefore, the easiest way to fix this issue is by updating the drivers.
There are two ways for you to get the right drivers for your devices: manually or automatically.
You can download and install all the drivers for your computer manually from the below link.

or you can download and install the HP support assistant and it will automatically download and install the latest drivers available for your computer.
You can download HP support assistant from the below link.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
