Hi,
I've been looking for the 10.1 HP tablet that was sold briefly in 2011? It was on the shelves, then HP sold them off at major discount for reasons I'm still not clear on. I only know it was the best tablet I've ever owned - the right size, the right weight, and powerful enough for my needs (storing books and certain apps for school).
Yes, I know there's faster, brighter and probably better, but I'd really love to get ahold of this tablet, if anyone knows of one I could get at a reasonable price (with consideration for age and compatibility).
Thanks,
KCK

Hello Kckcay
I think you are asking about the old HP Touchpad.
Those are long gone so whatever you find used in places like eBay are gonna be it.
In fact, it has been (shall we say) "quietly" put out (through media) that HP would no longer be competing in the Tablet arena.
If you take a look in the HP Store, they do not carry any tablet models anymore. So whatever you find out there, looks like that's gonna be it.
Sorry.

Hi,
It's been a while, but I wanted to say thanks for responding. I agree, the tablet is pretty much gone, which is too bad. I liked it alot, even with its quirks.
I'm so not into the whole android thing, so I'm always on the lookout for something similar to HP's touchpad.:)

Sure thing.
If you do want to go with HP again, there is one 8 in tablet available new at the moment.
Or you could go with a 10 in detachable which is basically the same thing as a tablet.
Prices are in the $480 - $580 US dollar range. Good Luck.
