Lately my tablet keeps dropping my internet connection. I'm almost positive it has nothing to do with my ISP as none of my other devices have this to happen. I did a few weeks back add my HP printer to my tablet. Could this be the problem? I've had to go in and reconnect 3 times just to get this completed. I just go into my settings, and usually it just reconnects without my having to click on it or anything.

I understand you're getting intermittent issues connecting to your wireless network on the HP 10 G2 tablet.
Clear all cache on the tablet: Settings > Storage > Cached Data. You should have the option to erase all the cached data here.
Hard reset: While the tablet is on, press and hold the power button for 8+ seconds to force shut down. Turn the tablet back on and see if that helps.
Factory reset: Make sure you backup any important files or information first. Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset. (HP Tablets - Performing a Factory Reset on Your Tablet (Android 5.1, 5.0/Lollipop) - Click here
Try another wireless network: Most people assume that if one or more devices are working properly on their wireless network, their network is fine. Networking isn't really that simple. Every device communicates differently and it's impossible to be sure if the device or the network is the source of the issue until another network has been tested.
I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes for further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

Which printer?
Does it have the wireless direct option activated? If so, your tablet might be connecting to the printer's wifi signal instead of your router.
When you lose internet on the tablet, look to see if it shows a connection via wifi to the printer. If so, you will not be able to access the internet due tongue fact the printer is not a gateway.
Solution would be disabling wireless direct on the printer.
