Bob,
I have used a Kingston 4GB SD card in my 700w, but I have not had any luck with SDHC cards. If you find an 8GB SDHC that works in your quest, please let me know.

I submitted this response to "Compatible Cards" to the palm forum this morning on my Centro, using Blazer ...authentication failed...WTF??? I was logged in! Ok...now on my home pc..the response is as follows;(where's the semi-colon on the Centro???)

I bought an Adata 4G microSDHC class 6 sdhc v2.0 card for my cool lil' Centro. My understanding is that ALL MICRO-SD cards over 2GB are SDHC...AND the Centro supports 4GB cards...ergo Palm Centro supports the Adata 4G microSDHC class 6 sdhc v2.0 card .

I've had hang problems with dataviz's Docs when reading the card for compatible files,Facer Pro (V3.1.1) move programs, Centro's bonus program "Files", and several other programs."

Oddly TCPMP,the built in player, and moving a file from one SDhc directory to another using FILez, have no problems.

I've checked the card for errors using an external card reader and windows, properties, error checking. I've backed up the card, reformatted and restored it with no problems...but the above issues remain.

Anyone else having problems with their Centro and the Adata 4G microSDHC class 6 sdhc v2.0 card ?

thanks,

Chas

I would like to verify the claim made earlier that the Transcend 4gb "Regular" Secure Digital card works well with the Lifedrive.

Thanks to this thread I bought a 2GB SD card from Crucial ( www.crucial.com/uk/ ) for a Tungsten E. It worked without formatting straight away. The card is listed as made by Toshiba.

I am having a problem also with a Kingston 4GB Micro SDHC Card in my Centro, when card is first inserted phone recognizes it but after about 30 seconds phone "beebs" and says no Card inserted so I can't even do anything with it.

Kingston said if card is ok in another device (It Is) then problem is in the Firmware on the Centro, most likely it doesn't support the SDHC Card format, even though palm says they do.

I e-mailed palm to see if there is an update. Will let you know if I have any luck.

Using Treo680 with A-Data 8GB SDHC (Class 6).  Temporarily "borrowing" it from my camera.  No problems so far.  Tried music, movies, data, etc and can access all.  Currently packed full of MP3s (yes, 8GB of music) and no issues using pTunes other than it takes a little while for it to sort the files.
