Running out of memory and can't update apps.  Earlier this year purchased an SD card, but can't get apps to move over to SD card. My old tablet (Galaxy Tab) had an option with apps to move to SD card..this does not. I called HP support to get help but the person I spoke with had no idea how to get it moved. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Why have an SD slot if you can't move info to it?

Hi MSladybug1

Thank you for posting your problem. Unfortunately, it is not possible to move apps to the SD card with this particular HP device, as it does support this.

However, to free up space from the device storage, you can download HP File Manager from the Google Play Store and move some of the files over to the SD card (eg. music files, video files, etc). Let me know if this works for you.

Cheers!

Hello,

You could visit this link to make use of HP File Manager App to Work with Files on Your Tablet.

Alternatively, you could use online cloud to store your files .The HP Connected Drive cloud storage app is available for download in the Google Play Store.

Hope this helps.
