My computer isn't recognizing an iPod nano that I'm trying to add music to from my iTunes library. I've contacted iTunes and they have trouble shot all that they can. They told me that it's my computer that's the issue not iTunes. I contacted HP Chat Support and they referred me to HP Smartfriend. I called them with the case number I was given and they want me to pay them $50 to access my computer to find out what the problem is. I'm a stay at home mom who doesn't have $50 to throw away. What other options do I have to try and solve this problem?

I had two Nanos, both went throught the wash by mistake...  They didn't sync after that!
