Product: Slate 7 plus 4200us
Operating System: Android 8.0 Oreo and older

I have a HP Slate 7 Plus that is stuck in a bootloop. When attempting to factory reset the device it freezes at bootloader screen (i have left it there for days hoping it might do something). It can boot into the normal os, but the password is now unknown so we can't actually log in to rest the device. Basically at this point it's a paper weight. I have been trying to find the Base OS files or some iteration that will work so that I can reflash the OS from a PC with the device connected via USB. However I have not been able to find said files anywhere. I have looked on HP Drivers and downloads for the device to no avail. So I am hoping someone can point me in the correct direction. Otherwise, I will have to attempt a root of this device in order to make it usable again.
