HP Recommended
Product: HP ENVY x2 Detachable 12-e0xx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to link a Unitek USB to 232 serial converter via a UCB-C plug that came with the laptop, but once the drive's installed it has error code 28 in the properties  saying no driver is installed.

 

Tried many different prolific versions but to no avial. I'm starting to think this laptop isn't compatible?
