I need help finding the net present value for a business. The information I have is:
total projected cash flow (five years) :                              195,000

Initial investment:                                                                      30,000

Present Value (Based on NPV calculation at 7.8%) :    39,736

net present value ($39,736 - 30,000)                                9,736

I need to know how the Present Value (39,736) is calculated and I have the HP 10BII+ financial calculator.
