Dell have posted the lasted drivers for their Venue bay trail z3700 tablets.

It works on the HP Omni 10 of course since its the same chipset drivers for the z37xx series.

I updated without any issues Intel HD Graphics Driver (GFX) is now version 10.18.10.3349 (2013-11-02).

You can download them here:

Dell will be a good source for updated chipset drivers (Intel Platform Driver Installer) for us  Omni 10 owners.

I was curious if you had any issues with the screen? I had to return mine due to flickering and seeing a rainbow artifact on the screen. I saw this article in the comments.

In the comments they speak of this being a trial run for what looks like a new touch screen. Its confusing. I wish HP would speak up.

I had this issue with my Omni 10 (5600ef).

I updated this drivers and it did the trick.

The imaging driver in this set doesn't appear to be compatible with the HP's camera(s). The drivers installed are dated 10/21/2013 and won't work (device manager error)...you can use the original two dated 8/21/2013 however to get the cameras back functioning.

You must manually update driver from c:\dell\drivers\3vr67\drivers\GFX

Hey guys!

With the Intel® Driver Update Utility you can Automatically scan your system for up-to-date drivers and install them quickly

Note: "Intel provides generic versions of drivers for general purposes. Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Intel recommends you contact your computer manufacturer for the latest system specific updates and technical support information"

Note2: Look out! Dell 8 pro seems to have z3740 processor (it's dell 11 the one with z3770). HP Omni 10 has z3770

PS: I don't know how to delete a repeated post.

Question: How long is the power cable of the tablet?

The drivers it said would work with the Omni 10 wouldn't install. I don't think they have their tool setup properly. It's looking at the graphics board and making providing drivers for the Penium/Celeron line...they're not going to install.

As you have noticed correctly, the Intel utility will won't work. It reports a newer version available but won't let you install it and says it's not compatible. You can install the driver pack from first post and then rollback driver for the mentioned device with exclamation mark in device manager.

I already asked for an updated driver pack from HP but no luck. Would be a problem if we really have to rely on HP driver support which obviously doesn't exist.

The drivers Dell released, with the exception of the imaging (camera) driver appear to be good. I guess that's the plan...HP customers should just go to Dell's site for support. I wonder if we can get them to do firmware updates as well... 🙂
