Omni 10 tablet
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

HELP!!! My Omni 10 tablet touchscreen recently stopped working on me. I was able to login by conecting a mouse and keyboard via micro USB. After following some of the instructions on this forum that told me to uninstall the HID touchscreen driver in the Device Manager, I then restarted and it never reinstalled it at start-up. I then did a system reset, and still nothing!!  Does anyone know how to retrieve and reinstall the HID touchscreen driver??

Hello C-los75

I need to know the exact model of your Omni 10.

The only drivers available will be the Intel Chipset driver set but I do need to know what you have first.

Also, make sure your bios is set to default.

If the chipset drivers dont help and considering the touch screen stopped functioning prior to you removing the driver, it will not be software related but a hardware failure.

It is an omni 10 5600US.

OK. The only driver set that might help is Intel/Realtek Chipset, Graphics, Camera and Audio Driver Pack.

sp64364.exe

If reinstalling windows and using the driver above does nothing, there wont be anything else I can offer.

Good luck.
