Example: HP V220W
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

While formatting the pen drive model number HP V220W 8GB, It is displaying the message "The disk is write protected".

In second case, My second hp pen drive is 32 Gb, model number v215b, it is not formatting. At the end of 98%,0it encounters error

Download the  USB Flash Driver Format Tool Ufix-V from this Link: https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6202-usb-flash-driver-format-tool.html. and extract the file and run it to format your Pen drive

 

Please note this is a 3rd party website and App


If the issue persists, please contact HP Support for a replacement Pendrive
