HP Pro Tablet 608 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It looks like I now have to send the abysmal tablet back to HP.  The other day, the thing powered off and wouldn;t properly fire back up.  I charged it but it still doesn't fire up.

When completely off, a quick press of teh button does nothing.  Holding the power buitton in for a few moments just brings up the white LED near the front camera and it just lights up steady.  There is no screen acivity or anything else.

Pressing the power button briefly again makes the LED turn off and the tablet vibrate (like when you press the Windows home button).  Again, I don;t get anything else.

Does anyone know another key combination to perform a reset or something?

I tried pressing the power up button and holding it whilst pressing the power button for 30 seconds - nothing.

Case logged with HP - requesting refund.

How long does it take HP to respond to a support case I logged through their SUpport Case Manager?  All I got a few days ago was M&N Notification.  I haven't heard anything since.

Not only is this tablet a pathetic piece of junk, HP's support is non-extistent.  Over $800 and I feel like I could've got a better tablet of Ebay for $180.

You have to call them. Don't get off the phone until someone agrees to send you a box to repair/refund you.
