Does anyone know how to insert and graph recursive sequences on a HP Prime Graphing calculator?

Thanks,

Athanasios

Did you read Chapter 18 in the "HP Prime User Guide" already? It is devoted to the Sequence app and presents examples along with descriptions and explanations for recursive sequences.

Hi!, @Athanasios:

You can see, the Formulas, from ... https://oeis.org/search?q=FORMULA&language=english&go=Search

And use ...

[un]:=rsolve([u(n)=2*u(n-1)+3,u(1)=3],u(n));
factor(un)

Kind Regards !.
Have a nice day !.

Hello,

Reading the chapter in the user manual about the sequence app would help.

App, select sequence and start the app.

In the sequence symbolic view, enter 1 for Start N, U(N+k) for "option 1", 5 for U1(1)  and 2*U1(N)+6 for U1(N+1), make sure that the sequence is "checked" (that there is a check mark on the left of U1(1)

Press plot to see the plot.

press num to see the numerical value (use down aror or swipe down to see the line with the 10=3578)
