Hello, @Kat40 – Hope you are well 🙂
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel!
I understand that you are getting “Google play services has stopped working” message on your Android device. To help you with this issue, I need to know the model of the HP tablet / PC that you are getting this error. If unsure, please check: http://hp.care/2oPCMBG
Alternatively, try to restart your Android device and then try again. Also, clear the Google Play Services cache.
- Go to Settings > Apps.
- Scroll to All apps and then scroll down to “Google Play Services” app.
- Open the app details and tap on the “Force stop” button.
- Then, tap on the “Clear cache” button.
- Restart the device and check.
Let me know if that helps!
Good luck 🙂
