HP 14-ax020wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've tried just about evrything so far to make the sd card start reading again but no luck. New Bios, Downloads from Realtek, system overhall, nothings working so far. If somebody comes up with something that works on the HP 14 Stream please let me know. (SD Card works good in the USB Drive with a conv.) Seems like the system is missing something if I figure it out before I hear from anyone I'll pass it on. Good luck.

  • Check the Disk Management utility to see if the card shows up in there.
  • Reinstall the chipset drivers from the hp.com site.
  • Check Device Manager to see if there are any unrecognized devices.

I have tried updating all the chipsets and restarted the computer and it still doesn't work.  Do you have any other solutions I can try ?

HP Recommended

Try reinstalling the Realtek Card Reader Driver from hp.com if you have not already.

Yes I already have tried reinstalling the card reader and that did not solve my problem,  Do you have any other suggestions that I might try ?

No, I don't have any other suggestions, I did notice the same issue was apparently solved here however on a Stream 11 or 13.
