Hi,
I tired to change the bios settings to be able to use virtual machine for a class that I am taking after I enabled the setting my computer allows me to login but noting more than that. The screen flickers ever second, the taskbar is in responsive and no apps are on the deskstop. It’s almost like it’s rebooting over and over. I can see the deskstop background as well. I think that maybe I enabled something that was suppose to be disabled or vice versa. If any one has any idea how to fix this I would be thankful.
I also tried a system restore and it failed, i tired to reboot into safe mode and was able to through the command prompt after going through the start up menu. I also ran a diagnostic on the computer and everything passed.

Welcome to HP support community.
Update the chipset and graphics drivers using HPSA
Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
